Born and raised in Ohio
Kay attended two years of college at Kent State University as a voice performance major.
Deciding she didn’t want to end up a music teacher, Kay followed her friend Bee down to Austin to graduate from the University of Texas with a radio–television–film degree.
After time spent in LA
Kay hurried back to Austin. There she assisted Bee and Robert as best she could in raising her 3 godchildren, Owen, Ethan, and Oona.
She managed a private photography studio, earned a massage therapy license, and ran a massage therapy practice until 1998, when she enrolled in the Academy of Oriental Medicine, and graduated with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine in 2002.
Kay has worked in a number of different locations in Austin with a number of different alternative health care practitioners over the years since then
Kay has a passion for the importance of nutrition in healthcare and manages the supplements offered at Circle of Friends Community Acupuncture Clinic.
